Tata Motors Inks Pact With Gujarat Govt, Acquires Sanand Vehicle Manufacturing Unit

Aiming for business development, Tata Passenger Electric Mobility Ltd (TPEML) a subsidiary of Tata Motors, and Ford India Pvt Ltd (FIPL) signed an MoU with the Gujarat government. Under the signed MoU, Tata Motors will have the right of acquiring FIPL's Sanand vehicle manufacturing facility, land, buildings, vehicle manufacturing plant, machinery, and equipment.  Furthermore, Tata Motors will also have all eligible employees of FIPL after a final transaction agreement.
