Tathagata Roy after Tenure as Tripura's Governor, Wants Bengal BJP Slot Back
Former Bengal Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) leader and Tripura's Governor, Tathagata Roy, expressed his willingness to get back his previous post as a politician. The 74-year-old politician served as the president of Bengal BJP from 2002 to 2006. He is expected to meet the party leaders in Kolkata, and will soon discuss his new role. Roy stated that BJP has a good chance at winning the 2021 Bengal Assembly Elections.
