Teachers' Day: Indian Mainstream Cricketers Wish their Coaches

Social media was flooded with wishes and blessings for teachers on the occasion of Teachers' Day. Mainstream cricketers of the Indian Team like Virat Kohli and Shikhar Dhawan took to Twitter to wish their respective coaches. Virat Kohli joined the West Delhi Cricket Academy way back in 1998 and was trained under coach Rajesh Sharma. Virat tweeted a quote, "A teacher gives you many valuable lessons in your journey," and thanked his coach Rajesh Sharma for all the valuable lessons he got in return. He also wished all the teachers who've guided their students in their respective journeys. Similarly, India's Opening batsman Shikhar Dhawan, who started his cricketing journey at the age of 12, thanked his childhood coach. Shikhar tweeted, "On #TeachersDay, I'd like to thank and appreciate my childhood coach Madan Sharma ji for guiding me and helping me get to where I am today."
