Teenager Accidentally Shoots Dead Playmate With Kalashnikov Rifle: Afghanistan

A 11-year-old boy in Afghanistan accidentally shot his 10-year-old playmate with a Kalashnikov rifle, while they were playing with it. The incident occurred in Kohistan district’s Hashtomin village, situated the country’s northern province of Faryab. The shooter has been identified as Abdul Rahman (11) and the deceased as Mohammad Nader (10). According to the local media, several cases of such friendly firing have been reported in Afghanistan.
