Telangana: Arnakonda Village Work Suffers Amid Superstition Regarding Skunk Entry In Sarpanch Room
In a bizarre superstition, the Arnakonda village in Telangana stopped functioning, after a skunk entered the sarpanch's office. Notably, considering the skunk entry as bad luck, a symbol of negativity, the panchayat sarpanch Vidya Sagar Reddy stopped coming to the office, following which many officials also started avoiding going to the office citing ill health. Moreover, many villagers blamed the breaking the tradition of Alai-Balai on Vijayadashami eve, as a reason for bad luck.
