Telangana Congress Leader Komatireddy Rajagopal Reddy Quits Party, Will Join BJP

Congress MLA from Telangana Komatireddy Rajagopal Reddy submitted his resignation as MLA and Party membership on August 8. He gave the letter to Telangana Assembly Speaker Pocharam Srinivas Reddy and announced to join the opposition BJP. Notably, the resignation was in the view of appointment of A Revnath Reddy as TPCC President. Reddy is set to join the BJP in the presence of Union HM Amit Shah on August 21.
