Telecom Ministry orders mobile networks to ban the usage of Chinese equipment

Telecom Ministry on June 17 orders BSNL, MTNL and other private networks to ban tenders and trades between China. Ministry asked the companies to avoid usage of existing Chinese equipment and ban buying new Chinese equipment for upgrading. The order framed just after the Prime Minister promised retaliation for the killing of 20 Indian soldiers in Galwan border clash.
