The terrorist who killed newly recruited sub-inspector Arshid Ahmad Mir was neutralised by security forces on October 13 during an encounter in the Bemina area of Srinagar. On October 10, terrorists attacked a police party in Old Srinagar City’s Khanyar area, where Arshid Ahmad Mir was shot by terrorists and later succumbed to his injuries. Police tweeted, "#Killer of martyr PSI Arshid killed in #Bemina #Encounter."
