Tigress passes away at Aurangabad zoo, officials say kidney ailment likely reason: Maharashtra

A tigress passed away at the Aurangabad zoo on June 24, from a kidney ailment. Health officer of the Aurangabad Municipal Corporation, Dr. Neeta Padalkar said, "We found out the animal was suffering from a kidney ailment when we learned that the urea and creatine levels in the samples were high". The tigress' swabs have also been preserved to determine the possibility of Covid-19 transmission within animals.
