As TikTok Begins Layoffs, Domestic Players Receive Spate Of Resumes
Domestic short video platforms are flooded with CVs of former TikTok employees after the Indian government put a permanent ban on the latter. Reportedly, one of the domestic platforms, Bolo Indya, has received around 4,800 applications between January 28 and 29 itself. Reporting alike development, Bengaluru-based 'Trell' informed of hiring around 50 ex-TikTok employees while another platform 'Chingari' claimed of receiving over 100 resumes from ex-ByteDancers since the Chinese company began layoffs in India.
