TikTok: ByteDance in Discussions to Move the Headquarters Out of China

As a response to the severe scrutiny from India and the US, TikTok's parent company ByteDance is considering moving the short-video app's headquarters out of China to distance its operations from data leak concerns. TikTok, which employs about 2000 Indians, says it always acts in the best interest of its users, employees, content creators, partners, and the policymakers. It also expresses its commitment towards protecting user's privacy.
