Trial of hydroxychloroquine for COVID-19 treatment to resume: WHO

WHO chief Tedros Ghebreyesus on June 3 said that the trial of hydroxychloroquine for treatment of coronavirus will resume. "On the basis of the available mortality data, the members of the committee recommended that there are no reasons to modify the trial protocol," he said. The WHO had suspended the trial on May 25 over safety concerns.
