TRS Nominates Ex-PM Narsimha Rao's Daughter Surabhi For MLC Polls

Telangana’s ruling party TRS has fielded former PM Narsimha Rao’s daughter Surabhi Vani Devi for the upcoming legislative council polls. Her name was pushed by CM Chandrasekhar Rao himself for the biennial elections slated for March 14. Reportedly, she will be filing her nomination on February 22 from Graduates' constituency i.e. Mahabubnagar of Ragan Reddy district. Surabhi's nomination came amid the year-long centenary celebrations of former PM Rao, celebrated by the incumbent TRS government.
