Twitter's Indian Alternative 'Koo' Garners Support From Railway Minister

Amid deliberations between the Centre and microblogging platform Twitter, the latter's made-in-India alternative 'Koo' has garnered the limelight. On February 9, Railway Minister Piyush Goyal announced his presence on ‘Koo’, asking people to connect him there. Delivering same user experience as Twitter, ‘Koo’ allows to conduct polls, tag people and provides a 400-character limit. Besides, supporting vernacular languages like Hindi, Marathi, Tamil, Telugu and Kannada, 'Koo' is available on Android, iOS and web browsers.
