UN Agencies Praise India for its Efforts in Battle against Covid-19

The Indian Government's fight against COVID-19 is being praised by several United Nations (UN) agencies, said UN Spokesperson Stephane Dujarric, in a press briefing on September 8. He informed that the agencies are supporting India's health and socio-economic efforts to beat the pandemic. "The UN in India is also supporting the Government's anti-stigma campaign, with over 170 million social media impressions in August alone," said the Secretary General.
