UN-backed govt regains control of Libya's capital as Haftar withdraws forces

The UN-backed Government of National Accord (GNA) has said that it is in full control of Libya's capital Tripoli after it captured the international airport in the city. General Khalifa Haftar's Libyan National Army (LNA) has withdrawn its forces after a year-long battle launched in April 2019. Earlier this week, Haftar agreed on resuming UN-brokered ceasefire talks with GNA.
