UN’s Global Biodiversity Outlook Report Leaked, Suggests 8 Reforms
UN's Global Biodiversity Outlook 5 (GBO-5) report, to be released on September 15, has been leaked. The leaked report showed that none of the 20 'Aichi Biodiversity Targets' have been achieved. The GBO-5 suggested 8 reforms to achieve 2050 Vision for Biodiversity. Restoration of forests, sustainable agriculture, climate change, cities and infrastructure development, sustainable management of fisheries and waterbodies are expected goals, Down to Earth reported.
