US To Arbitrate In Armenia-Azerbaijan Conflict, Hold Meetings On Oct 23
Just before the US presidential elections, the country's Secretary of State Mike Pompeo will arbitrate a talk between Armenia and Azerbaijan to ease tensions in the Nagorno-Karabakh region. Reportedly, Pompeo will hold meetings with the Foreign Ministers of both the countries concerned on October 23. However, it is unclear whether the talks will happen separately or together. Earlier, Russia failed to bring peace in the region with a ceasefire pact.
