US Defence Secretary Mark Esper "Terminated" From Service
The US President Donald Trump on November 9 announced the country's Defence Secretary Mark Esper has been "terminated" from his position. Mark was immediately replaced by Christopher Miller, Director of the National Counterterrorism Center. Reportedly, Esper was at odds with Trump vis-à-vis the military protests over racial injustice and the President's approach towards NATO. The Democrats criticized Trump for "sowing chaos in American Democracy" during the final days of his term.
