US Frames Law To Protect Armstrong's Bootprint, Human Artifacts On Moon
The bootprint of Neil Armstrong and other artifacts like vehicles, remnants, and equipment from the first lunar mission will now be protected under a United States Law. Reportedly, the US government passed the 'One Small Step To Protect Human Heritage in Space Act' on December 31, 2020, becoming the first country to pass such law. The act will also prevent private companies working in association with NASA from turning aside the lunar artifacts and traces.
