US Offers To Intervene & Evacuate Ukrainian President From Kyiv; He Declines
Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelenskyy was offered to be evacuated from the capital city of Kyiv by US, amid ongoing Russian invasion, on February 26. Zelenskyy declined the offer and decided to keep up his promise of defending Ukraine. Zelenskyy also stated that the capital city of Kyiv must be protected at all costs. "I have to say absolutely openly. This night will be more difficult than the day," said Zelenskyy.
