Assets worth $9.5 billion belonging to "Da Afghanistan bank" have been frozen on August 15, by the US government. However, according to Bloomberg, the ideal concept is to prevent the Taliban from accessing the necessary financial aid it needs. However, the decision came after Janet L Yellen, the US treasury secretary gave the order to the treasury department office of 'Foreign Assets Control'.
