US Shows Solidarity to Xinjiang; Visa Restrictions on Huawei Employees

The US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo showed solidarity to Xinjiang on July 15, by announcing that the United States will impose visa restrictions on certain employees of Chinese technology companies such as Huawei. It is reported that Huawei provides "material support" to regimes that engage in human rights violations against members of Uyghurs, ethnic Kazakhs and other minority groups in the Muslim-majority province of Xinjiang.
