US Woman Jailed For Approaching A Bear In Yellowstone National Park
Samantha Dehring, a US woman who came very close to a grizzly bear and her three cubs to take her picture in Yellowstone Nationa Park in May, has been awarded four days jail and fined $1,000. Dehring also unheeded park rangers' instructions. ''Approaching a sow grizzly with cubs is absolutely foolish,'' said Acting United States Attorney Bob Murray. The rules say one should maintain at least 100 meters distance.
