US: World War II Veterans to Commemorate 75th Anniversary in Hawaii

Dozens of World War II veterans from US are set to gather at Pearl Harbour on September 2, to mark the 75th anniversary of Japan’s surrender, ending the war. Earlier planned on a larger scale, most of the celebrations have been cut down due to the Coronavirus pandemic. Around 200 veterans, aged between 90 to 101 will be honoured at the event, while maintaining social distancing, which will be live-streamed.
