Uttarakhand Govt Suspends Corbett Tiger Reserve's Chief & 2 IFS Officers

The Uttarakhand government has suspended two IFS officers and removed the director of the wildlife sanctuary from his position, on April 28. The move has come as a response to the complaints received against the aforementioned persons for illegal constructions and felling of trees in the Corbett Tiger Reserve (CTR) area. The suspended individuals are identified as Chief Wildlife Warden JS Suhag, forest officer Kishan Chand and CTR director Rahul.
