Uttarakhand To Host First Snow Leopard Tour In February

To promote wildlife conservation, Uttarakhand Tourism is organizing the first-ever snow-leopard tour in Harsil village on the banks of the Bhagirathi river in February. The tourism body has informed the entry would be on a first-come-first-served basis. Reportedly, the tour is a part of SECURE Himalaya Project - a conservation and restoration efforts for Himalayan ecosystems. The campaign will be jointly organized by Global Environment Facility, UNDP India, the Centre, and Uttarakhand tourism.
