Uttarkashi Avalanche: Expert Team From Gulmarg To Assist Rescue Trapped Mountaineers

To rescue 27 mountaineers from Draupadi Ka Danda-II mountain peak following an avalanche, an expert team from Gulmarg in Jammu and Kashmir has joined the rescue operation. Besides, the rescue teams also consist of Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) and Nehru Institute of Mountaineering (NIM). Reportedly, the teams have arrived at the advanced base camp at a high altitude, and the rescue operation is underway.
