Villages In Gujarat Go Under 'Voluntary' Lockdown To Tackle COVID Surge
To tackle the surge in COVID-19 cases, several villages and towns in Gujarat have decided to impose a 'voluntary' lockdown. Reportedly, Lunawada town will remain shut for 15 days as decided by the traders' association and district officials. Moreover, Santrampur and Dahod have announced a voluntary weekend lockdown on Sundays. The other localities to impose voluntary restrictions are Malataj village, Kothavi village, Pansora, Changa, Sarsa, and Demol.
