Violence Erupts at Visva Bharati University, Crowd Vandalizes Boundary Wall: WB

Violence erupted at Visva Bharati University in Birbhum on August 17. A large number of people ransacked the university against the construction of a boundary wall on Poush Mela grounds. The crowd destroyed the bricks and cement, kept for the construction. The university expressed its willingness to file a criminal complaint against those who were engaged in the campus vandalism.
