Volvo To Go 100% Electric By 2030; Vows To Transition To Online Sales
Swedish automaker Volvo is eyeing to go fully electric by 2030 by weeding out all combustion engine vehicles. The move came after the company saw surging demand for its newly launched EV 'XC40 recharge.' While planning to sell all vehicles via online mode, the company aims to expand its consumer base as countries eye banning non-zero emission cars by 2030. Reportedly, Volvos’s first EV XC40 recharge is expected to launch in India.
