West Bengal: 9 Women In Mamata's 3rd Cabinet; CM Retains 6 Portfolios

West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee on May 10 announced her 43-member cabinet including nine women. Inducting 20 new members, the cabinet comprises of 24 minsters of cabinet ranks, nine state ministers and 10 minsters of independent charge. Retaining six key portfolios including home and administration to herself, the cabinet has four each members from SC and ST community. Meanwhile, BJP named Suvendu Adhikari as the leader of opposition.
