West Bengal Breaches 3,500-mark of COVID-19 Fatalities
According to the data by the State Health Department, the COVID-19 death toll in West Bengal has crossed the 3,500 mark. Reportedly, 58 more people died of COVID-19 on September 5. However, the state witnessed an increase in the discharge rate, from 84.48% to 84.86%, as 3,248 patients recovered from the infection. The tally of active cases in the state now stands at 23,390.
