WHO Announces To Open Global Centre For Traditional Medicine In India

WHO Director General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus has announced that they would open a Global Centre for Traditional Medicine in India. The centre will focus on the training and awareness of "traditional and complementary medicine". The announcement came on the sideline of an event, wherein PM Modi inaugurated two Ayurveda institutions. Following the WHO's announcement, PM Modi said, "this centre for traditional medicine will become the centre for global wellness."
