
WHO retracts statement: COVID-19 transmission via asymptomatic people isn't rare
World Health Organisation's Covid-19 Technical Lead, Maria Van Kerkhove, on June 9 stated: 40% of the transmission of COVID-19 virus are from Asymptomatic people and are highly infectious at their early stage of transferral to Symptomatic. She retracted a statement she made on Monday, 'asymptomatic transmission is very rare,' affirmed that is from inadequate datasets and concluded that as unreliable.
