WHO Says, Health Workers & Elderly People Should be Given COVID Vaccine First

India is clear as to who the first tier of recipients will be when the Coronavirus vaccine comes out - the frontline health care workers. Discussions are being held to decide which set of people will fall under the second tier. According to WHO and its idea of "strategic allocation", after the health workers, people above 65 years of age and those having comorbidities should be given the next priority.
