
Woman of Indian Origin becomes Captain in US Army
Dr. Shenika Shah, a woman of Indian origin, who was born and raised in New York City, U.S.A virtually graduated in US Army from 2nd Lieutenant to Captain during the Covid-19 Pandemic. Her parents Pritam Shah and Kavita Shah, faced the intensities of life and made their journey to US from a small village in Rajasthan. Shenika always had a dream of serving humanity and believes, "In the joy of others lies our own." She was also witnessed helping Indian people in Dubai, during the lockdown.
"Everyone wants success, but it only follows those who make a true approach to get it. You know the hard work and dedication has a destination, which is success. Best of luck to my daughter’s future and congratulations for her achievement. Keep going,” said Pritam Shah, her father.
