Zomato Apologizes Soon After Getting Slammed By Netizens

Zomato recently received backlash in Tamil Nadu as a customer took to Twitter, after one of their employees told a customer “Hindi is the national language.” Reportedly, the customer told Zomato that it must hire people who speak Tamil if they provide services in Tamil Nadu. The tweet went viral and the company was slammed. However, Zomato later apologized and stated that a Tamil version of the app is developing.
