Himachal Pradesh's Kaza Gets World's Highest EV Charging Station

The world's highest electric vehicle charging station was inaugurated in Himachal Pradesh's Lahul and Spiti district on September 23. The station is situated at 500 ft in Lahul and Spiti's Kaza area. Talking about the inauguration, Kaza's SDM, Mahendra Pratap Singh said, ''If the station gets a good response, more station would be set up.'' Formula 1600 To Make Comeback In MRF National Racing Championship

The MRF MMSC FMSCI Indian National Car Racing Championship is scheduled for September 25 at the MMRT. Around 9 car races and about 76 competitions are lined up for the event. Making comeback on track after the pandemic, the highlight of the event is going to be the MRF Formula 1600 class. However, Formula LGB 1300, Volkswagen's 22 VW Polo cars will also be on the lookout.

Delhi RTO Plans To Provide Video Recording Upon Failing DL Test

Taking a unique initiative, Delhi's Regional Transport Office (RTO) is planning to make available the video of the permanent Driving License (DL) test to those who fail the test. Reportedly, the initiative will help them know the mistakes and polish their skills to pass the test. ''We've received feedback from several RTOs that test-takers often seek a copy of their video,'' said a senior transport official.

Ola Electric Scooter Records Rs. 1,100 Crore Sales Within 2 Days

Ola Electric Scooters managed to make sales worth over Rs. 1,100 Crores during September 15 to 16. Major portion of the sale is due to the S1 and S1 Pro models. Ola claims to have sold four scooters every second on September 15. Ola is planning the second purchase window starting November 1 during the festive season, till then new bookings are deferred after their website ran into technical difficulties.
