Bill Gates, who is in India shared a blog post and updates his fans and followers about his recent e-rickshaw ride. On March 6, Bill Gates posted a video of him driving a Mahindra e-rickshaw, Treo with Kishore Kumar and Manna Dey's classic 'Babu Samjho Ishaare' playing in the background. Anand Mahindra, CEO of Mahindra shared the video and captioned it, "Chalti Ka Nam Bill Gates Ki Gadi."

Honda Cars India launched the much-awaited Honda City 2023 in India at a starting price of Rs 11.49 lakh. Starting from March 2, the new range-topping variant of the brand will go up to Rs 20.39 lakh. The 2023 City brand is being offered in City petrol (Rs 11.49 lakh-Rs 15.97 lahks) and City e: HEV hybrid (Rs 18.89 lakh-Rs 20.39 lakh) options.

After Delhi, the Maharashtra Government also banned bike taxi services like Rapido, Ola Moto and Uber Moto to ply on the streets. The transport department has warned bike taxis against plying on the roads of Delhi. The first offence by the aggregators could lead to a fine of Rs 5,000, while the second offence could lead to a fine of Rs 10,000 and imprisonment up to a year, said notice.

Car maker Volvo announced it to only sell electric vehicles, starting in 2025. Notably, the giant company announced that it would go electric globally, from 2023, whereas the sale of electric cars would begin in 2025. In electric vehicles, the company currently sells the Volvo CX40 Recharge in India and confirmed that the compact SUV will be joined by its coupe-sibling called the Volvo C40 Recharge soon.

Hyundai Motors officially opened its booking for the new Verna Sedan Model, on February 13. The bookings for Hyundai's new Verna Model will be reserved at an opening amount of Rs 25,000. Booking will be done either on official website of Hyundai Motors or at the company dealership. The new model is expected to be in market and will offer powertrain options and will be available in three monotone colours.
