Wife Of Malayalam Actor Jagadish Passes Away At 61, Last Rites Today
Malayalam Cinema Fame actor Jagadish lost his wife P. Rema on April 1. As per media reports, 61-year-old P Rema, former head of the department of Forensic Medicine of the Thiruvananthapuram Medical College, died due to prolonged illness and died peacefully, said actor Jagdish. In addition, Rema is survived by the actor and their two daughters. Notably, her last rites would be performed at their residence in Kerala, later in the day.

India Reports 6,561 New COVID-19 Cases In 24 Hrs
India records a slight surge in COVID-19 cases with 6,561 new cases and 142 deaths within the last 24 hours by 8 AM on March 3, confirmed the Union Health Ministry. As per MoHFW data, India has 0.18 % active rate, 98.62% recovery rate, the ministry said. The number of vaccines administered in India reached 178 crores, said the Union Health ministry.

Italy Wins Gold, Singapore Silver & Iceland Bronze: IIHM's Young Chef Olympiad Finale
IIHM's 8th edition of the Young Chef Olympiad came to an end. Young chefs from over 50 countries took part in the competition, along with 200 judges and 150 hospitality stalwarts. Italy's Matteo Cignetti was crowned as the Best Young Chef of 2022, and won the coveted gold prize, a digital certificate and a cheque of $5,000. IIHM's Young Chef Olympiad Begins; Student Chefs From 40 Countries Compete
IIHM is hosting the eight edition of Young Chef Olympiad, which virtually started on January 30. The five-day culinary battle began on January 31, in which student chefs from over 40 countries competed.
