RTI Activist Discloses Loan Waiver Worth ₹25 Lakh Crores By NDA Govt

How many loans did Modi govt. write-off? Rs.250,00,00,00,00,000 (Rs.25 lakh crores). An RTI activist revealed that a total of Rs.25 trillion written off by public banks and scheduled commercial banks from 2014 till date. It also mentioned that this amount is 810% higher than UPA 1+2 combined. Furthermore, most loans written off are of larger amounts, as nearly 4000 accounts with loans higher than Rs.5 crore written off.

Dabur Receives GST Notice Of ₹320.60 Crores, Will Challenge

Homegrown FMCG and Ayurvedic products maker Dabur, confirmed to have received a Goods and Service Tax (GST) demand notice of Rs 320.60 crore. The company will challenge the same based on strong merits by filing its reply before the relevant authorities, Dabur India said in a regulatory filing. “The Company has received intimation of tax ascertained as being payable under Section 74(5) of CGST Act, 2017," read an official statement.
