BCCI Issues Advisory For Coronavirus Amid Ongoing IPL

Amid the rising number of COVID-19 cases in India, the BCCI issued a set of guidelines and advisories, to be followed.  The decision came amid the ongoing Indian Premiere League (IPL) 16th edition, which started on March 31. One of the major pieces of advice in the guidelines is to give importance to precautions taken by players, to avoid the spread of the Novel Coronavirus.

India Registers 5,335 New Covid-19 Cases

India's rising number of COVID-19 cases are raising alarming concerns to the administration and states. In the past 24 hours, India registered 5,335 new single day cases. With this active cases stood at 25,587. In addition, the number of deceased tally is at 5,30,929 with 13 deaths. With this positivity rate is at over 3%. Furthermore, the MHA released a set of COVID guidelines, asking people to be cautious.

Lawyers Can Work In Hybrid Mode, Says CJI DY Chandrachud

In a relief to lawyers. the Chief Justice of India DY Chandrachud said that lawyers are free to appear virtually. The decision was taken amid the rising number of Novel Coronavirus. On April 5, the CJI Chandrachud said, "We saw newspaper reports on rising COVID cases. Lawyers can use hybrid mode. If you choose to appear online, we will hear you."

Rajasthan CM Tests COVID-19 Positive

Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot On Tuesday tested positive for Covid-19. Congress leader took on Twitter to inform about his health and wrote that he has tested positive for coronavirus infection and has mild symptoms of the disease.] Gehlot further said that he will continue his work from his residence only and urged the public to be vigilant and follow the Covid-19 protocol. The Covid-19 cases are rising in India.

India COVID-19 Update: Registers 3,038 New Cases In 24 Hours

India COVID-19 cases are rising massively, with over 3,000 new cases registered in past 24-hours. On April 4, the MoHFW reported 3,038 new cases with 9 fatalities, taking the overall tally to 4.47 crores. Furthermore with new cases, active cases in India surged to 21,179 and death toll reached at 5,30,901. In addition, fatality rate increased to 1.19%, active cases comprised of 0.05% and recovery was at 98.76%.

Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty's husband Raj Kundra has been tested positive for Covid-19. Taking to Instagram, Bollywood news page, Viral Bhiyani shared a photo of the couple and confirmed that Kundra contracted with the deadly virus. Bhiyani shared a funny caption saying, "He can have a museum with the collection of masks he has. Kya fayda wapas covid ka thappa lag gaya." the couple is yet to issue any statement.

India Active Cases Crosses Over 10,000, Registers 1,800 Cases

The rise in Covid-19 cases is raising alarming concerns in India. On March 27, the Union Health Ministry confirmed over 1,800 new Coronavirus cases. Furthermore, with the new rise, the active caseload registered is now over the 10,000 mark. This is the second consecutive day that India registered over 1,800 single-day cases. In addition, the Union Health Ministry secretary Rajesh Bhushan will hold a meeting in this regard.

India COVID-19 Cases Rises With Over 1,500 New Cases

India is continuing to record a hike in the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) cases, with `1,590 single-day cases. On March 25, the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare confirmed 1,590 new cases, with six fatalities. With this, active cases is now at 8,601 and fatalities increased to 5,30,824, with daily positivity rate at 1.33%. The Union Health Department urged people to take precautions and follow the proper guidelines of COVID-19.

PM Modi To Hold High Level Meeting Over COVID-19 Situation
