In a shocking incident, a constable from Karnataka, identified as D Kishore (32) killed his wife amid suspicion of an affair. Getting into the details, the accused traveled 230 km after his wife, Pratibha, didn't answer Kishore's 150 calls. Notably, Pratibha, a mother of a newborn baby, had a fight with Kishore and was staying with her parents when Kishore traveled and strangled her to death after consuming insecticide.
A 21-year-old youth, in love with his distant relative, killed an 87-year-old woman because he “wanted a corpse to cook up his girlfriend’s death story and eventually elope to a foreign country”. The incident took place in Bhachau town of Gujarat’s Kutch district as the youth went on a search for a woman of the same height and build of his 22-year-old girlfriend, which led him to the elderly woman.

Slain gangster-politician Atiq Ahmed's Benami Property, worth Rs 12.5 crore was attached by the Uttar Pradesh Police in Prayagraj's Katahula area on Monday. The confiscated land was spread across 5.0510 hectares, and was purchased and registered in a mason's name, Hoob Lal. His men forcibly scared poor farmers and registered their lands in Hoob Lal's name, the mason confirmed to police. Notably, Atiq took 14 farmer's land.
A parliamentary committee on home affairs on Monday adopted three reports on bills to replace the existing criminal laws with some opposition members submitting dissent notes, sources said. A 24-year-old Indian student has been stabbed in the US States of Indiana, and is in a critical condition, confirmed sources. Varun was stabbed with a knife into the temple by the assailant Jordan Andrad, 24, at a public gym in the Valparaiso city of Indiana on Sunday morning for reasons that the authorities are still investigating. The attacker was arrested and is facing attempt to murder charges.
The Blinkit delivery agent, who allegedly raped a 19-year-old girl, has been arrested after a gunfight in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, confirmed police on October 30. Notably, the accused identified as Sumit Sharma, forced himself inside a flat and raped the victim, who ordered food from the online grocery store. After committing the crime, Sumit fled the spot and was hiding in Khairpur, at his brother's place.
