The Gurugram Police arrested a man, who allegedly threatened Elvish Yadav, a YouTuber and Bigg Boss OTT 2 winner. Notably, the man threatened Yadav and demanded ₹1 crore, from the social media star. Yadav instantly registered a case against the unidentified man with the Gurugram Police. The police launched an investigation and arrested the accused, a resident of Gujarat. He is identified as Shakir Makrani. 

In a disturbing incident, a 16-year-old was allegedly raped repeatedly by her uncle. The horrific incident from Pune came to light on October 24, when the victim's mother caught the accused red-handed with her daughter and registered a first information report (FIR) with the police. A case has been registered under IPC and POCSO Act, and he was arrested. The victim's paternal uncle allegedly raped the girl, twice.

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) filed an 8,887-page prosecution complaint before a special PMLA court (Prevention of Money Laundering Act) in Raipur. In a shocking incident, a police constable was shot dead by bike-borne assailants in Bihar's Vaishali district. According to an eyewitness, the incident took place when Amitabh Kumar, posted at Sarai police station, was checking vehicles near UCO bank at Sarai Bazar Chowk on October 16. As per an eyewitness, "one of the miscreants opened fire on the police team." This is second incident of police being target.

In Uttar Pradesh, a father-son duo allegedly open fired at a family in Mahoba district, on October 15. According to sources, the accused gun fired at a girl's family, who allegedly protested against molestation, leaving 10 people injured. Mahoba SP, Aparna Gupta, confirmed the incident.
