School Students Sings Qawalli, Islamic Slogans In Hijab, ABVP Stages Protest: MP

In Madhya Pradesh’s Guna, at a private school, students were seen wearing Hijab, singing Islamic songs and preaching lessons and sayings in Islamic on the ocassion of Eid Milad-un-Nabi, on September 27. After the video went viral, the Akhil Bharatiya Vidya Parishad (ABVP) staged a protest outside the school in Guna and raised slogans. After the matter, the school apologized and removed the principal of the school.

On September 28, the police arrested the teacher of the school. Notably, the investigation was based on a police complaint filed by the victim's father, demanding punishment for the accused teacher. The father of the class V student claimed, Hindu-Muslim communal clash.

Protesting Youth Jumps Off Mantralaya Building In Mumbai, Falls Onto Safety Net

A youth staged a protest at the Mantralaya in Mumbai to demand teacher recruitment by jumping off the state administrative building. He fell onto the safety net installed on the second floor of the Mantralaya.  Mumbai Police promptly intervened, and took the protester in custody. The youth is reportedly from the Beed district of the state and had come to Mumbai to demand immediate teacher recruitment.

SC Slams UP Govt Over Shabby Investigation Into Muzaffarnagar Muslim Student Slap Incident

The Supreme Court on September 25, pulled up the Uttar Pradesh government for a shoddy probe into a case lodged in Muzaffarnagar against a woman teacher, who allegedly encouraged her students to slap a Muslim classmate and made communal remarks at a private school, directs an IPS officer to monitor and submit reports. 34 School Going Children Capsized In Muzaffarpu, CM Assures Assistance
