Dalai Lama's Security Dog Duka Sold For This Amount In Auction
Tibetian spiritual leader Dalai Lama's loyal dog was sold at $20 dollar. On February 11, the Labrador breed dog named Duka was with Dalai Lama for over a decade and ensured his security, finally retired from his duty and was sold after an auction, said the Himachal Pradesh Police. Now nine-months-old Tommy, purchased for Rs 3 lakhs, trained by the Punjab Police is the new security dog of Dalai Lama.

Oklahoma Couple Charged INR 3 Lakhs For Starbucks Coffee
An Oklahoma couple ended up paying $4,000 (INR 3 lakhs approx.,) for a regular coffee at Starbucks. The couple Jesse and Deedee O'Dell said, they recently got to know about the huge amount charged and filed a complaint with the police. The couple said, "We contacted their (Starbucks) customer service helpline probably 30 to 40 times that day." Meanwhile, Starbucks apologized and said to have given two compensation cheques.

Delhi Governor Approves 300 Hotels, Clubs And Online Services, Function Round Clock In Delhi
In a major boost to the nightlife of Delhi, LG Governor A. Saxena permitted 300 hotels and clubs to operate 24X7, in the national capital. On October 9, the Delhi Governor ordered to issue a notice in this regard and said, "Starting next week, the 300-plus establishments will be able to operate on a 24X7 basis in the national capital". It will help major businesses, including online services, boost the economy.

TCS Asks Employees To Work From Office, Sent Email
Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) finally ended the work-from-home (WFH) system for its employees, asking them to come office at least thrice a week. On September 24, the TCS sent an email to all of its employees, working in a hybrid model, ending full work-from-home adopted because of the pandemic. The Australian men's cricket team unveiled their playing kit for the T20 World Cup, set to begin on October 16 in Australia. Virat Kohli To Soon Open Restaurant, Purchases Kishore Kumar's Bungalow
Indian cricketer and former Indian Captain Virat Kohli reportedly purchased a large portion of the Juhu bungalow 'Gouri Kunj', once owned by legendary late singer Kishore Kumar. The cricketer is to open a restaurant under his 'One8' brand, which is signed under a five-year lease. The restaurant work is said to be under construction and will soon be ready for opening in Juhu, Mumbai.
