BJP leader Sanjay Jaiswal took a personal dig at Rahul Gandhi and his origin. Addressing the media, Jaiswal said, "A person born to a foreign woman can never be a patriot." He further insulted Rahul Gandhi and his family with the personal attack saying, "He is upset with PM Modi." This is not the first time BJP leaders attacked Gandhi, previously Pragya Thakur also said Rahul Gandhi about his origin.

Wanted Khalistani Leader Amritpal Singh Seen In Delhi Roads
After days, Sikh preacher and Khalistani leader Amritpal Singh has been spotted in CCTV footage in Delhi, confirmed sources. Amritpal Singh is seen without his turban in the footage, in an apparent attempt at disguise to evade the police, who is searching for Khalistani leader. He wore sunglasses and a denim jacket. India's Himalayan neighbour Nepal has already put Amritpal Singh on its surveillance list.

Central Govt Extended Date For Aadhar Card, PAN Card Link
The Government of India announced a new date to link Aadhar Cards with PAN cards. As per the central government notice, the new date is said to be June 30. It said that notification in this regard is being issued separately. Linking PAN with Aadhaar is important to help curb tax evasion. The CBDT also mentioned the penal action a taxpayer will have to face from July 1.

EPF Rate Increased To 8.15% In 2023-2024 FY
In good news for employees, the Union Labour and Employment Ministry increased the marginal interest rate of Employees Provident Fund (EPF) to 8.15% from previous 8.1%. BRS MPs Move Adjournment Motion In Parliament
The BRS MPs moved an adjournment motion in the ongoing parliament session, on March 28. As per sources, the BRS leaders in the house are demanding tabling and discussion over the Women's Reservation Bill. RBI Likely To Pause Its Interest Rate Hike In April
The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) is expected to pause its interest rate hike and the current 6.5 percent repo rate could be the terminal rate for now, said SBI Research in its latest Ecowrap report. The repo rate is the interest rate at which the RBI lends money to all commercial banks. The next monetary policy meeting is scheduled for the first week of April 2023.

2 Students Arrested In Security Breach Case Of Amit Shah
The Karnataka Police arrested two students, in the alleged security breach case of the Union Home Minister Amit Shah. Notably, during the two days visit of Amit Shah in Karnataka, a major security breach was reported. The arrested person into the matter are identified as Imran and Zibran, and are being grilled by the State Police. SC Calls Bilkis Bano Gang Rape, Horrendous Crime, Adjourns Hearing
The Supreme Court reviewed the plea challenging the pre-release of 11 convicts in the Bilkis Bano Gang Rape case. Duribg the court hearing, the SC bench led by Justice Joseph called the crime of murder and rape as horrendous and issued a notice, seeking the details about the trail proceedings and sentence, each convict served in Jail. With this, the Apex Court adjourned the matter to April 18.
