Gangster Atiq Ahmed's Benami Property, Purchased In Name Of Mason Attached
Slain gangster-politician Atiq Ahmed's Benami Property, worth Rs 12.5 crore was attached by the Uttar Pradesh Police in Prayagraj's Katahula area on Monday. The confiscated land was spread across 5.0510 hectares, and was purchased and registered in a mason's name, Hoob Lal. His men forcibly scared poor farmers and registered their lands in Hoob Lal's name, the mason confirmed to police. Notably, Atiq took 14 farmer's land.

Chhattisgarh Contest For 20 Assembly Seats In Phase I
Chhattisgarh Assembly Elections 2023 first phase started on November 7. The elections will be held for 20 Assembly seats, and approximately 232 leaders belonging to political parties are in the fray. Furthermore, approximately 40 lakh voters will decide the fate of the candidates, contesting at 5,304 polling booths. The second phase of the Chhattisgarh elections will be on November 17, and the results will be on December 3.

Tremors Of Earthquake Felt In Delhi NCR, Gurgaon & Faridabad
Another earthquake of magnitude 5.6 on the Richter scale hit Nepal on November 6, evening as the Himalayan nation recovers from the deadly earthquake, which killed over 155 people. This is the third earthquake that has struck Nepal in the last four days. Tremors were also felt in parts of north India, including the Delhi-NCR region. Monday's earthquake hit at a depth of 10km, said reports.

Parliament Panel Adopts Report On Criminal Laws
A parliamentary committee on home affairs on Monday adopted three reports on bills to replace the existing criminal laws with some opposition members submitting dissent notes, sources said. The Parliamentary Committee on Home Affairs, chaired by BJP member Brij Lal, met on Monday, nearly 10 days after members had sought additional time to study the draft reports circulated late last month.

Delhi To Implement Odd-Even Vehicle Rule To Curb Pollution
The odd-even scheme is back in Delhi to fight the growing air pollution and deteriorating air quality in the capital. The odd-even rule will be applicable from November 13-20 in Delhi. The announcement was made by Delhi Environment Minister Gopal Rai. "In view of air pollution, the Odd-Even vehicle system will be applicable for one week from November 13th to November 20th," said Delhi Environment Minister Gopal Rai.

The recent deepfake video of actress Rashmika Mandanna has created turmoil, demanding action and rules for AI generated pictures and videos. In addition to Amitabh Bachchan, Union Minister Rajeev Chandrashekar also expressed concern. On November 6, he asked the platforms to take down any such content that violated the IT rules of India. Reminding IT rules, Rajeev warned strict action and legal penalty for accounts sharing the same.

Bengaluru Govt Officer Murder: Police Arrest Former Driver, Investigation Underway
