Hitting out at the Centre, Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra on November 3, said the BJP government must answer as to how will one celebrate Diwali when prices of food items are "skyrocketing" just a week before the festival. The Congress general secretary raised concern over prices of onions, sugar and pulses. She questioned Modi Government asking, "Diwali is a week away, but the prices of food items are rising."

Bollywood actor Kangana Ranaut on Friday hinted at entering electoral politics, saying if Lord Krishna blesses her, she would contest the next Lok Sabha elections. She was here to offer prayers at the famous Dwarkadhish temple of Lord Krishna this morning. When reporters asked her whether she would contest the next Lok Sabha elections, Ranaut said, “Shri Krishna ki kripa rahi to ladenge (If Lord Krishna blesses, I will fight).”

In the latest development, Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal skipped the Enforcement Directorate (ED) summon, as he is scheduled to campaign in Madhya Pradesh. Notably, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) President was supposed to appear before the ED in connection with the 2021–2022 Delhi Excise Policy Scam on November 2. However, Kejriwal will not appear and also asked the ED to withdraw the summons, saying its "illegal and politically motivated."

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) wanted all Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) party members behind the bards; and if that happens, the Delhi government will be run from jail, AAP leader Saurabh Bharadwaj said. His comments after the ED summoned Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal in alleged liquor scam case. Menwhile, it is noted that Manish Sisodia and many AAP leaders are named in the Delhi Excise Policy Scam.
