Indian cricket coach Rahul Dravid spoke about IPL and WTC clash and likely challenges of Team India. On March 13, Dravid said, "laying the World Test Championship (WTC) final against Australia within one week of the IPL's conclusion is going to be a huge challenge. He said, "We just qualified at lunchtime today. I wasn't counting my chickens before they hatched. We'll celebrate this for starters," 

Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese began his four-day visit to India, and played Holi in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, on March 8. PM Modi and his counterpart started the tour and is scheduled to witness the Indian V/S Australia match, at Ahmedabad stadium, on March 9. "Cricket, a common passion in India and Australia! Glad to be in Ahmedabad with my good friend, PM Anthony," tweeted Modi.

For the upcoming India V/S Australia test match, the Australian Cricket Squad Steves Smith will lead the team for the match in Ahmedabad. The development came after Pat Cummins had to return to stay home with his family. Cummins, who missed the third Test, flew back to Australia to be with his sick mother, who is in palliative care. Cricket Australia announced the same on March 6.

Argentian football player Lionel Messi won the best FIFA Men's Player 2022 Award. The footballer received at the FIFA Football Awards 2022. This is the second time that Messi has won the most prestigious and biggest award in the Football world, the first was in 2019. Besides Messi, Argentina's head coach Lionel Scaloni won the Best Men's Coach Award and Emiliano Martinez won the Best Men's Goalkeeper Award.
